Certainly one of our favourite projects, Bellamount House, Cootehill, is believed to be the first brick house ever built in Ireland, Set amid approximately one thousand acres of parkland, woods and lakes, Bellamont Forest is one of Ireland’s finest 18th century Palladia villas.

Built between 1725 and 1730 for Thomas Coote, Lord Chief Justice of Ireland. Though the property is on 1000 acres, about 400 acres is under lake and a further 450 acres is in woodland. McCabe Masonry is currently restoring it’s natural look inside and out. Using lime based mortar the whole project has been repointed while maintaing it’s heritage importance.

Let’s discuss your next project.
